Dzmitry Soltan was born on June 26, 1979. From 2003 to 2008 Dzmitry was a student of the Belarusian State Academy of Music in the bassoon class, professor V. Budkevich.

From 1997 to 2007 Dzmitry was the artist of the Orchestra of the Opera and Ballet Theatre.

From 2005 to 2005 Dzmitry was the artist of the Belarusian TV and Radio Company Orchestra.

From 2004 to 2006 Dzmitry was the artist of the Orchestra of the State Musical Comedy Theatre.

In 2000 Dzmitry received the grant of the Special Presidential Fund on Support of Talented Youth.

Since 2006 Dzmitry has been the artist of the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus.
