Wonderful music, unusual interpretations of the world-wide-known works, exclusive staff – it’s the quartette of wood wind instruments under the romantic title “Riviera”. It includes:
- the “magic” flute – Tatjana Karmazinova
- the “enchanting” oboe – Maxim Rassokha
- the “lyrical” clarinet – Dzmitry Yaratsevich
- the “velvet” bassoon – Dzmitry Soltan.
Every participant of our group is a soloist and a repeated prize-winner of different international competitions and festivals (Belarus, the Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Romania, Estonia, Poland, Holland, France, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Faroe Islands, Spain). Our quartet is the absolute winner of the international contest “Art of the XXIst century” in the nomination “Chamber Ensembles” which took place in Finland. Furthermore, all of us have the grant of the Special Presidential Fund for Talented Youth Support, Artists of the Presidential Orchestra of Belarus and the teachers of the Children's Music School № 10 named E. Glebov. Analogue quartet Riviera in the Republic of Belarus does not exist.
The many-sided repertoire of our group consists of its own arrangements (more than 200 of them). It has the works of various styles starting from the mysterious Renaissance up to eccentric advance-guard ,also including the working-ups of world peoples’ melodies, music from favorite films and cartoons.
There are the following programmes in our repertoire: “The Ancient Music of Europe XVIII cent.”, “Antique Belorussian Music XVIII-XIX cent.”, “Foreign Music XVIII-XIX cent.”, “Music of Russian Composers XIX-XX cent.”, “Music of Belorussian composers XX cent.”, “Popular Variety Music”, “Music from Films and Cartoons”, “Soviet Retro”. Our art director M.Rassokha was awarded a state grant in the nomination “The Best Creative Project 2009” for the arrangements of the antique Belorussian music and works by E.Glebov.
The quartette gives concerts on different stages of Belarus and abroad, it is the participant of international festivals. “Riviera” demonstrates the fresh look onto the perusal of the classic authors of various genres and the creative striving of the four young hearts to beat in “Allegro” tempo.
